"I had a property I could not sell because it needed lots of work. The realtors I hired only generated very low fire-sale-type offers. Luis was recommended by a good friend who sold his $3-million home. My friend Dave, who recommended Luis, said Rafael, we all have lots of friends and relatives in the real estate world. They typically just post a listing in the MLS and let the free internet do its thing, and that is it; if it sells, it sells. My advice: buy them lunch and send them on their way. You need a real professional, not a housewife who sells 5 houses a year. Apart from a real pro with a proven track record, you also need a realtor who will spend real money to advertise your property. His exact words were “close your eyes and call Luis Gonzalez”. So, I took his advice, I bought a couple of lunches, and called Luis. All I can say is wow! Everything was so different. All of a sudden, we had drone footage, a virtual tour, an internet page for the property, and advertising in other countries since Sotheby's is an international company. The previous listing verbiage and pictures made the property look old, distressed, and it makes sense because that’s the offers we attracted. The quality of the Luis pictures and drone footage was just at another level. Plus, the way he wrote to present my listing made the whole presentation way different. With all his tools, the end product made my distressed home look like a very coveted vintage property, resulting in much better offers, 4 to be exact, 2 from out of the country. I ended up with $160,000 more than what I hoped for. I will now print this review and take it to my friend Dave and buy him a steak dinner!
